For what it is worth...I deliverd two times at Ft Belvior, one high risk, and my care was amazing! I wish the new facility was open then, but I will say, I was in great hands. Doctors at Bethesda and Ft Belvior consult with one another on difficult cases. Ft. Belvior works with your appointments to try and get in and out ahead of traffic...they understand. Congratulations!

PS I saw Asato and Fugate exclusively. Asato delivered the first and midwife Spears delivered my second baby...both were amazing and the nursing staff was very calm, professional and kept me laughing...

Based on my experience...Dr. Fugate at Woodbridge Family Clinic is great and Dr. Asato at Ft Belvior. Both deliver at Ft Belvior. There are some amazing midwives at Belvior too. I delivered our last two there.

She assigns you to a hospital/OB clinic. Basically, she puts your referral in to whichever hospital you want to go to. I can't remember what else we talked about but I was only in her office for maybe 10 minutes when I went back in June.

I got a positive pregnancy test. I went to Quantico they gave me a urine test she called me and said i was 4 weeks and 3 days and said that she is going to set me up with the OB Coordinator. What does the OB Coordinator actually do?

i found some keys at the mail boxes off of adams st and edison st back by the maintenance building. Ever year is different, yet typically we receive the majority of our Notice to Vacates in the early spring (April-May timeframe). It is these notices that will allow the Government Partners to assign homes to Service members who are currently on the active wait list. Based on the history of the move out trend here at Quantico the three to six month time frame should be as accurate as we can be. I apologize you have not had a positive experience with our Government Partners, during your appointment with them, did they discuss the short term rentals they can refer you too?

The "government partners" aren't very friendly or forthcoming with information. They would only say the there was a 3-6 month wait and that they "weren't calling many people right now". We're qualified for a 3 bedroom.

We are staying in a hotel hoping for our number to come up soon. Last we checked, we were #23 on the E8 waiting list for 3 bed room housing. Hope our number comes up soon, it's getting expensive! We have two toy poodles and the hotel charges extra for them!

Resident Advisory Board (Opening)Objective: Enhance communication between residents and management for the purpose of improving the quality of life in MCB Quantico housing. Through the Board, ideas and suggestions will be solicited to make PPV housing the best option for service members and their families.

We are in the process of expanding our resident advisory board and looking for Quantico resident to join us. In the past membership has been limited to neighborhood Mayors, school board members, base service organizations and command representatives. We would like to expand our board and have service member spouse’s join our ranks.

We are also looking to fill two vacant neighborhood mayor positions in Masters Hill Officer and Masters Hill Enlisted. Mrs. Washington is the point of contact for this position.
Role of the Mayors
• Represent the interest of the residents in their neighborhood
• Point of contact to assist in the dissemination of information to residents
• Provide insight to help enhance the appeal of PPV Housing
• Report overall/common needs of the community to Lincoln Military Housing
• Offer suggestions for activities and events for the community
• Attend Town Hall Meetings impacting neighborhood
• Attend Resident Advisory Board Meeting
